  • We specialize in the Wilson Reading and Spelling System®, a structured literacy program designed for students who struggle with reading and spelling. Wilson is widely recognized as one of the most effective programs for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences.

  • The Wilson Reading and Spelling System teaches students how the English language works. It provides explicit, step-by-step instruction in phonics, word structure, and spelling patterns. Students learn to break words into sounds and syllables, which helps them decode unfamiliar words and improve both reading and spelling. Over time, this builds fluency, confidence, and stronger comprehension.

  • Most students make the best progress when they attend two to three sessions per week. Consistency is key when building reading skills. We will recommend a schedule based on your child’s needs and goals.

  • Each session is 1.5 hours.

  • Please contact us directly for current pricing and availability. We are happy to discuss your child’s needs and recommend an appropriate tutoring plan that will include pricing.

  • For students who can decode but struggle with understanding what they read, we focus on explicit comprehension strategies and structured reading instruction. We specialize in Visualizing and Verbalizing. This includes building vocabulary, improving fluency, and teaching students how to think about text through questioning, summarizing, and identifying key ideas. Instruction is individualized based on the student’s specific needs.
